Some ideas like gravity, chemistry, and thermodynamics are stable. No amount of anchoring, TV broadcasting or ease of understanding can change chemical bonds or terminal velocities.
Some ideas are more open to reframing. When we have to perceive something like a price or if something is better we use our judgments, often taking the easy path. This might seem like a bug, but it's really the best feature of all.
The most important reframing we can do is to ourselves. As Viktor Frankl wrote:
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
